Evergreen Marine Wins Third Consecutive LOG-NET e-Commerce Excellence Award

Taiwanese carrier wins record third straight prestigious industry recognition

Tinton Fall, NJ – LOG-NET, Inc. announced that Evergreen Marine was the winner of this year’s LOG-NET e-commerce excellence award presented this week at the industry’s Trans Pacific Maritime (TPM) conference held in Long Beach, California. The award is presented annual to the ocean carrier that achieves the highest rating in LOG-NET’s electronic commerce implementation and execution on a global basis.
The award has gained increasing significance in the industry as data quality becomes a critical factor in global supply chains. LOG-NET’s customers are leveraging increasingly sophisticated capability, such as artificial intelligence and advanced visibility forecasting, that rely heavily on complete, timely and accurate data.
LOG-NET also recognizes the top five carriers in their performance.

To be in the top five LOG-NET noted that the carrier had to score in the ninetieth percentile for completeness, timeliness and accuracy of information on a global basis. LOG-NET reported a record number of new customers adopting electronic interfaces with their carriers in all geographies with significant new growth in Europe and South America.
Evergreen’s performance required consistent delivery in all geographies, message types and customer size categories. The LOG-NET client portfolio measures customers of size with several hundred containers per year to more than 100,000 forty foot equivalent units (FEU) per year.
LOG-NET is also looking forward to the coming year and its new strategic initiative with the carrier community to standardize REST based internet Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to further improve the quality and depth of carrier trading partner integration.
