As a Product Application Administrator you will have the opportunity to interface directly with the customer and administer high availability systems in a fast paced environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Install, configure, test, and debug application and Database systems.
2. Provide functional and technical support for day to day activities.
3. Implement and migrate of upgrades, patches, code releases.
4. Provide end user support for various applications, hardware, and software platforms.
5. Work with development team in implementing, supporting and monitoring.
6. Create and update system documentation in accordance with corporate and departmental requirements.
7. Effectively communicate operational status to clients and within company.
8. Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
This position requires the ability to work independently and as a team member in a motivated and confident fashion. In order to achieve on-going professional and personal development, candidate must be well rounded and current in Web applications, Database, Web services, and shell scripting.
1. One must possess a sound understanding and expertise of Web, and relational Database with 1-2 years hands-on experience.
2. Experience with Web and Middleware Infrastructure technologies.
3. Basic understanding of Sybase, SQL, MySql, and Oracle.
4. Experience with Windows batch scripting kill for batch process, system maintenances automation, and administrative tasks.
5. Familiar with Windows operating system and able to install/uninstall applications and associated components.
6. Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, firewalls, and VPN.
7. The ability to troubleshoot problems in a logical and careful manner.
8. Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or equivalent.
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

This will include initiating, developing, and maintaining a database of prospective accounts from source material, company records, industry contacts, and existing CRM Database; increasing customer demand; implementing a Sales Strategic Plan to accommodate Corp.
Goals; reviewing market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and competitive information; preparing periodic sales reports; assigning sales territories to Business Development Reps; and staffing, training, and performance evaluations. Other responsibilities include developing budgets; authorizing expenditures; developing short and long-range operating objectives; and developing an adequate plan for backup and succession of management and other key personnel.
