Product Support Engineer

As a Product Support Engineer you will have many opportunities to advance your career in both technical and business fields.

The responsibilities include fulfilling our customers’ needs for their daily business requirements and their use of our products and services. To this end, Product Support Engineers provide customer needs assessment, application maintenance, customized application programming, and support of application deployments.

Whether you are interested in pursuing a career in the business or technical areas of the company, you should fulfill certain requirements: dedication to customer satisfaction, technical knowledge of LOG-NET applications, an understanding of the international and domestic trade and transportation industry, and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. These last characteristics are especially important since client architects develop and evolve their own roles within the company.

To apply, you should have at least a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, physics, mathematics, business or equivalent. You should also have at least one to three years’ experience with SQL, JAVA, JavaScript and XML.

Production Application Administrator I

As a Product Application Administrator you will have the opportunity to interface directly with the customer and administer high availability systems in a fast paced environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Install, configure, test, and debug application and Database systems.
2. Provide functional and technical support for day to day activities.
3. Implement and migrate of upgrades, patches, code releases.
4. Provide end user support for various applications, hardware, and software platforms.
5. Work with development team in implementing, supporting and monitoring.
6. Create and update system documentation in accordance with corporate and departmental requirements.
7. Effectively communicate operational status to clients and within company.
8. Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
This position requires the ability to work independently and as a team member in a motivated and confident fashion. In order to achieve on-going professional and personal development, candidate must be well rounded and current in Web applications, Database, Web services, and shell scripting.

1. One must possess a sound understanding and expertise of Web, and relational Database with 1-2 years hands-on experience.
2. Experience with Web and Middleware Infrastructure technologies.
3. Basic understanding of Sybase, SQL, MySql, and Oracle.
4. Experience with Windows batch scripting kill for batch process, system maintenances automation, and administrative tasks.
5. Familiar with Windows operating system and able to install/uninstall applications and associated components.
6. Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, firewalls, and VPN.
7. The ability to troubleshoot problems in a logical and careful manner.
8. Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or equivalent.
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Network Systems Administrator

Network Systems Administrator will support web application hosting data center located in Red Bank, NJ. Successful candidate will possess strong knowledge of Windows Server 2008 in a networked environment including Knowledge of Wide Area Network (WAN) design and network traffic management, including CISCO router IOS configuration. Additional skill such as experience with Web Development, Java and database server administration is a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
1. 3 - 6 years’ work experience with Windows 2003 Server.
2. 2 - 6 years’ work experience with Windows Server Update Services.
3. 3 - 6 years’ work experience with MS Office Suite, Lotus Domino Suite.
4. Bachelors or Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Account Manager

An Account Manager will work with LOG-NET clients directly to ensure software/services and workflow implementations are provided within standard levels. The position will work within prescribed operational and financial objectives. This position will work closely with new and existing clients and LOG-NET resources on client inquiries, priority lists, work status reviews, and problem solving. The Account Manager will also provide a supporting role in training and deployments. This position will be required to maintain at all times a thorough understanding of the LOG-NET applications and services provided. The Account Manager will be the customer advocate within LOG-NET.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
1. Application knowledge. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the most up-to-date features of the application.
2. Client problem solving/escalation. Coordinate client inquires and service-related issues within company standards. This includes LOG-NET inquiries and requests that are related to the client.
3. Work Status Review, Management, and Reporting. Manage client work and expectations.
4. Training. Lead or support both LOG-NET employee and client application training sessions.
5. New client deployments. Assist in the timely and effective deployment of new clients.
6. Participate in external activities to gain experience within the industry or trade, such as seminars, trade shows, conferences, or training sessions.

ONE MUST FULFILL THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field.
2. 2+ years of account management or project management work experience strongly preferred.
3. Excellent PC user skills including Microsoft products, such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Experience in Project and Visio a plus.
4. Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
5. Excellent problem solving skills.
6. Ability to manage numerous short- and long-term projects.
7. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
8. Knowledge of trade and transportation and/or technology industry preferred.
9. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk and hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15lbs.
